My Review: I was very excited to tasted this wine because my grandmother lives in Monterey, California. The aromas I got from this red wine consisted of cherries and spices. These scents, and the fact that it was a red wine, gave me the feeling this was going to be a relatively rich and well bodied wine. This wine tasted more bitter but also left somewhat of a buttery taste. This gave me the impression it was aged in oak. It had a spicy and long finish. I did not have this wine paired with food, but overall it was relatively enjoyable.
