Tisdale Pinot Noir Wine Tasting [21]

Name: Tisdale Pinot Noir
Variety: Pinot Noir
Region: California
Country: USA
Year: 2016
Price: $7

Bottle's Review: With fresh red fruit flavors of cherries and red plum, with out experienced winemakers have crafted this Pinot Noir to have medium-body, soft tannins, and a hint of brown spice.

My Review: Before tasting the wine, I recognized flavors of cherry and plum. It was very fruity and sweet "smelling." I got hints of strawberry as well. The mouthfeel of this wine was very light. There was a very short finish and most of the flavors I got were those of the fruit I had previously smelled. I tasted flavors of cherry and strawberry, with a little bit of spice. I did not have this wine paired with food but could imagine it tasting well with something a little heavier/more flavorful to balance out the wine. I was not a huge fan, but would be willing to try this wine again.
